All About The Great Smoky Mountains (california wine tours)

By Rachel Yoshida

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is in Tennessee. It is over a half a million acres of forest and wonderful wildlife. It has mountains that typically range up to 6,000 feet high. The park has tours to take visitors through the park and to tell you what is in it.

There are a lot of mountains that will amaze you on how high they are. There’s one that is almost 6,600 feet high. That particular mountain is called Mount Le Conte, which lies just east of Mississippi. This is the tallest mountain in the park. Many people like to see this mountain. The park is good for hiking, climbing, or just walking in the park to see the sights and enjoy nature. Going into Alum Cave will bring you straight on through to Clingman’s Dome, which is the highest peak in the park. From this peak, you are able to see the wonderful and spectacular views of the forest in the park. This peak is about 50 feet high.

There are 70 miles of trails and 850 miles of roads that are unpaved. These trails take you to Chimney tops and Laurel Falls. These falls have 80 feet drops that you don’t ever want to fall into. You must have a travel guide with you when you go there. There are other things to do to have fun, such as bike riding, horseback riding, and fishing. Because there are over 700 hundred miles of streams, you can set up camp at a site by the water and catch rainbow fish and trout. It is a good place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a good book while waiting for the fish to snag your line.

If you decide to climb up the mountains, then only do so if you are a very experienced climber. Climbing mountains is a serious thing because it takes just one wrong move to fall and injure yourself very badly. Hiking is very good exercise because it strengthens your muscles and tones your body. If you are biking, you have to watch for deep holes and watch your speed when you go down long hills.

Sometimes, you can see a beautiful array of colors from the rainbows that appear from the falls. There are many, many wildlife animals that reside in the park, such as bears, raccoons, rabbits, snakes, white- tailed dear, different types of birds and much more. The park is for your enjoyment, whether for leisure or for educational purposes! There are so many things to do. You can’t do everything in one day.

Travel in Confidence
By Rokai Kolam

There comes a time in a pet owners life when he/she has to leave even the most loved pet behind for a trip related to ones career or personal obligations. In the same manner that traveling stress can take its toll on people, pets are also subject to such stress thus it is not always advisable to take pets especially on extended trips that require several changes in environment. A pet sitter provides an option for anxious pet owners that need to ensure the well-being of their pets while taking that all-important trip. Whereas traditional pet care options including neighbors, friends or family members are not quite convenient since looking after the pets tend to be an imposition of their respective time, a professional pet sitter is a contracted service provider who gives quality and personalized care to a beloved pet on a pre-arranged schedule at the comfort of its own home.

Animal Aficionado Pet Sitting takes away the guess work from pet care when the usual care givers are away. There are many reasons why using pet sitters has become the preferred option. Some of these are the reduced stress on pets since they are being taken cared of in their homes, travel trauma is avoided as there is no need to transport pets anywhere, exposure to illness and parasites of other animals is greatly minimized, less restrictive vaccination requirements compared to those left at kennels and the absence of the need to adapt to new environments. Pet Sitting Phoenix, Pet Sitting Scottsdale and Pet Sitting Tempe are ideally covered because pet sitters are licensed and insured for liability including care, custody and control of the pets in their care. Animal Aficionado Pet Sitting is a PSI (Pet Sitters International) Accredited Pet Sitter and is a member of both PSI and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. These associations have maintained long-term interactive relationships both with their expanding network of members and the pet owners they serve.

Services of Animal Aficionado Pet Sitting include a to 1 hour daily visit for a fixed charge depending on your pets needs, an overnight visit consisting of a 12-hour stay at home with your pet (usually from 9 pm to 9 am) and a live-in visit which consists of day and overnight visit. Charges for Pet Sitting Scottsdale, Pet Sitting Phoenix and Pet Sitting Tempe which comprise its service area would depend on location, number of pets and holiday schedule. Locations outside these service areas will be subject to gasoline surcharge.

Essentially, Animal Aficionado Pet Sitting offers services that include feeding, watering, snuggling, playing, medication management, kitty litter removal and/or pick-up after dog.
